Worked on Nas's tree for a little while, but still not connected. There are a couple of large families in the late 1800s/early 1900s that could be fruitful for connection -- Crump and Little.

A connecting challenge if anyone's interested!

I'm expanding the ancestry of Playboi Carti---his great aunt Sarah Jones from North Carolina married into the Ellerbe family, which, if you see here, seems to have an expansive presence in North Carolina on Wikitree. If we can connect Sarah to her Ellerbe family, we can get Playboi Carti onto the global tree! Good luck

Would it be helpful to have a Hip Hop Artists category as well as the Rappers category?

The two terms are used interchangably and more or less refer to the same type of music. It would only cause problems for categorization if we were to do that, so one of the two would do us well for a category name.

Great! That makes things simple.

I need help linking Juice WRLD and Young Dolph who are second cousins, and possibly finding the name of their common ancestors. If you're interested in working on this, reply and I'll add you to the Trusted List for the (alive) family members.

All that is known is that Juice's grandfather's older sister is Dolph's maternal grandmother. I can't link them cause I don't know if it's Juice's maternal or paternal grandfather.

The only way to solve this is to go through records to find the name of the common ancestor. We have the name of Dolph's mom, through records we need to find her mom, then her dad (the common ancestor). The surname of this common ancestor will either be Higgins if they are through Juice's paternal line or Wallace if they are through Juice's maternal line. Good luck
